Our Story

our story:

1999 — Where It All Began

In 1999, Nathan Williams launched Baseline Fonts — a rebellious little type foundry inspired by his love for historic letterforms and clean, intentional design.

2005 — Laying the Foundation

Baseline Creative was launched as an evolution of that early work — a design studio committed to clean, functional web experiences and meaningful visual storytelling.

2006 — Studio to Agency

With momentum building, Baseline Creative was incorporated and began shaping its future as a creative agency to small businesses and community-minded organizations under the guidance of Nathan as principal and lead creative.

2007 — First Hire, First Expansion

Our first team member, Ben, joined the studio, allowing us to expand into custom website development and web applications — pushing the boundaries of what small teams could build. 

2012 — Content Joins the Conversation

As digital channels grew, so did our services. We added content development and social media strategy to support integrated marketing across platforms and build connection through voice.

2015 — Strategic Transformation

With the addition of Bridgette West-Williams, MBL, now Managing Partner, Baseline Creative gained leadership, vision, and strategy — and a catalyst. Her influence fundamentally reshaped the agency, elevating us from a creative shop into a true full-service partner for our clients.
